Azad University in Oxford (AUO) opened in July 2004. It is the first Islamic Azad University (IAU) campus in Europe. Islamic Azad University is the largest not-for-profit university in Iran and one of the largest in the world, with more than a million students and 30,000 members of staff. AUO is located at Stroud Court, in the village of Farmoor, just outside Oxford. This is a small and user friendly campus with excellent educational facilities and beautiful woodland grounds. we’re just 4.8 mile from the centre of Oxford. We are able to arrange short and long term accommodation of a high standard for our students who are over the age of 18 and we have a superb canteen with home cooked meals prepared daily.
Participation by our students in extra-curricular activities within the local Oxford community is strongly encouraged. Our mission is to provide maximum support for our students through a unique system of degree programmes, tutorials and one to one mentorship. We aim to build the confidence and encourage the creativity required for facing new international challenges and a new employment market. If you aim to study for a degree in the UK and require further qualifications to join the first year of an undergraduate programme, or the knowledge and skills to join a postgraduate course of study, AUO welcomes you.
